Small Stage is a student theatre space which presents a regular programme of theatre productions by students of the VŠMU Faculty of Theatre.
The venue is the result of an initiative by performing art students in 1998. Before that time they acted in Studio Kaplnka, but when the Slovak National Theatre moved to its new building in 2007, the building they vacated was set aside for teaching and student productions organised by VŠMU. Students of all branches of the Theatre Faculty along with the specialised technical staff of the School participate in the operation of the theatre.
