A folkloric event of paramount importance, the Východná Folkloric Festival presents the nation’s traditional and folk culture such as folk music, singing, dancing, games, narrative, folk poetry, costumes, embroidery and many tangible products of folk art. Simultaneously, it is the presentation of results achieved by regular and systematic work of many institutions, organisations, associations, and individuals in the field of traditional and folk culture.
