August Horislav Škultéty Hont and Novohrad Library, Veľký Krtíš
August Horislav Škultéty Hont and Novohrad Library in Veľký Krtíš offers lending and reference fiction, literature for adults, children and youth, non-fiction, socio-scientific and regional literature, periodicals, audio documents for visually-impaired and blind users and free Internet services. The library offers consulting, factual and bibliographical information, provides Interlibrary Loan Service (MVS) and elaborating of literature retrieval and processes regional bibliographies. The Library's community room provides space for a wide range of people to get together during different cultural, training and educational activities (discussions, competitions, exhibitions, lectures, specialised seminars, computer training, unconventional classes, workshops, etc) The library is a member of the Slovak Library Association (SAK) and the Association of Slovak Librarians and a partner library of the Parlamentary Library of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
