P.A.T. Theatre

P.A.T. Theatre - platform for contemporary theatre and performing arts - was founded in 2006 as an independent platform for contemporary theatre, dance and new media.

P.A.T.'s dramaturgy focuses on the creation of solo projects and productions in co-operation with guest actors, dancers, visual artists and musicians. It creates authored productions which often exceed the gender of drama by the used media, motorics and deconstructive manipulation of the text. Apart from that, it is attempting to animate the region through the PATZONE project, a multimedia event organised in the space of newly-reconstructed Prievidza Regional Cultural Centre.

Its leading personality is Slávka Daubnerová, who founded the company. Productions of the theatre are presented in Prievidza, at A4 - zero space in Bratislava, and at independent cultural centres, theatres and festivals in Slovakia and abroad.
