Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Directorate General for Political Director

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Directorate General for Political Director is responsible for the European agenda, the agenda of enlargement, the Eastern Partnership and EU sanctions. Furthermore, it is also responsible for bilateral relations, Euro-Atlantic agenda, the common foreign and security policy, the Permanent Delegation of the Slovak Republic to NATO, USA, CIS, the Balkans, Asia and Oceania, to the Middle East and Africa.

It incorporates the:

- Department of countries of Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Central Asia

- Department of South Eastern European countries

- Department of countries of North America, Australia and the Middle East

- Department of Common Foreign and Security Policy

- Department of Security Policy.
