The Directorate of Programme Support, in particular: (i) administers the State budget of the Slovak Republic in the field of culture; (ii) ensures compliance with the rules in the provision of state support; (iii) develops the basis for analytical and evaluating activities in the field of culture; (iv) performs preliminary and transversal financial control in the processing of contracts and in the ways of use of financial resources; (v) monitors and evaluates economic relations connected to the production, distribution and use of financial resources - including grants to individuals and companies in culture under the grant system of the Ministry.
