Trnava Regional Government - Regional Development Section
The Regional Development Section is responsible for: (i) ensuring the balanced economic and social development in the region; (ii) removing or reducing differences in social and economic development within the region; (iii) enhancing competitiveness within the region; (iii) ensuring a gradual increase in the standard of living in the region; (iv) preventing the emergence of new areas with low economic efficiency and a low standard of living; (v) ensuring international, cross-border and inter-regional co-operation in sustainable regional development and tourism development; and (vi) preparing proposals for the implementation of projects of the Slovak Republic and EU projects.
