Radio Regina is Slovak Radio's second channel with broadcasting divided between the regional studios in Bratislava, Banská Bystrica and Košice. The programming focus is onalternating block and stream broadcasting with an emphasis on regional journalism and news as well as cultural and social events. Its main broadcasting role is the promotion and development of contacts with listeners and cities, communities and regions. Musically it focuses on 'oldies', proven hits from the 1960s to the present, as well as country, folk, pop music and musicals. It describes itself as a family radio channel, although its dramaturgy is aimed at a target audience of middle and upper middle age.
