nadacia-slsp (1) Slovenská sporiteľňa Foundation, with its official seat in Bratislava, is a non-profit organisation which was founded in 2004.

The mission of the Foundation is to assist actively in the advancement of society in the Slovak Republic by supporting high-quality public purpose projects that will contribute to the society’s progress and reinforce the principal social values. The Foundation has an ambition to not only donate financial resources but through its activities also to achieve qualitative social changes in the field of culture, education, science, sport, charity and environmental protection. The Foundation has a nationwide scope of activity.

The Foundation was founded by Slovenská sporiteľňa a s (Slovak Savings Bank Inc) that has, as one of the greatest leaders in the Slovak banking market over the years of its operation, always provided financial resources for and orientated its activities towards the support of various spheres of social life. Through investing in the development of Slovak society, Slovenská sporiteľňa has set itself up as one of the companies which apply the principle of social responsibility in everyday life.
