Part of the National Cinematographic Centre, the Audiovisual Information Centre leads on Slovak participation in Eurimages and the European Audiovisual Observatory and makes use of advantages concerning Slovak participation, contacts foreign institutions and provides relevant information relating to the Slovak cinematographic and audiovisual sector, collects, processes and distributes information coming to Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic of the Slovak Republic and Slovak Film Institute relevant for specialists of Slovak cinematographic and audiovisual territory, co-operates with partner institutions including the Ministry of Culture, the Slovak Audiovisual Producers Association (SAPA), the Union of Slovak Film Distributors and others, provides relevant information concerning film and audiovisual databases abroad and updates regularly a directory of Slovak institutions, companies and organisations working in the field of Slovak audiovision and cinema.
