Established in 1993, the Information and Documentation Centre of the Council of Europe aims to disseminate information on the activities of the Council of Europe. The Office provides information on Council programmes and work; enables access by the general public to Council publications; publishes the main Council of Europe documents in the Slovak language; organises presentations and seminars on the Council of Europe for the broad public; acts as co-organiser in the preparation of the Council of Europe activities in Slovakia; and informs regularly about the Council of Europe activities through the actual press releases.
The Library of the Information Office is open to the public during working days.
