Metal preservation

The Preservation Department has been an integral part of the Technical Museum Brno since 1969. The main task of the department is to take care of museum collections. It also cooperates with other museums, institutions and schools and participates in various preservation and restoration projects and investigations. Its activities include lecturing students on museum preservation.

Activities of the preservation department include:

-  material analysis

-  preservation work

-  making of copies and castings
