The Standing Expert Archaeological Committe
The Standing Expert Archaeological Committee (SOAK) for D47 is an advisory body of the director of the Archaeological Centre Olomouc as the main investigator and coordinator. The Committee will regularly monitor and assess the expert level of all activities related to the investigation, express their opinions, suggest solutions, assess the value of exceptional archaeological finds and situations and suggest measures for their complex preservation. SOAK consists of prominent Czech experts from the Academy of Sciences, universities and museums. They are not only archaeologists, but also experts in related fields, particularly in science. Besides permanent members, other experts may be involved in their activities. The membership is honorary.
