Rožňava Tourist Information Centre aims to provide a range of tourism and information services focusing on natural and cultural-historical attractions, including accommodation and catering establishments, transport connections, local tourism and cultural services, forthcoming cultural and sporting events, institutions and businesses. It books accommodation and guided tours (Rožňava Watchtower, ‘Rožňava in the Arts’ and Rožňava Cathedral), offers a guiding and interpretation service, exchanges foreign currency and sells tourist maps, road maps, towns plans, postcards of Rožňava and its surroundings, folk art products, books and videos, and offers fax and copying services.

In collaboration with the Slovak Karst Tourism Association, Rožňava Tourist Information Centre is also active in the co-ordination and management of foreign tourism development projects, the representation of Rožňava at tourism trade fairs, the publication of promotional materials, the training of tourism entrepreneurs, the arrangement of conferences, seminars and workshops and the management of tourism associations

Between 1999 and 2007 the Centre promoted the region at the following tourism trade fairs: International Tourism and Caravanning Fair Lipsko, Utazas-Budapest Tourism Exhibition, ITF Slovakia Tour Bratislava, Kosice Tour, CBR Munich, ITB Berlin, Expotour Zilina, 'Menjünk világgal' Miskolc, Lato Warsaw.

This organisation is a member of the Association of Information Centres of Slovakia (AICES).
