Monoskop

Monoskop is a collaborative wiki research on history of media art, set up in 2004 by the burundi media lab, Bratislava. It has continued to function since burundi's dissolution in 2005.

On the Monoskop home page there is a list of cities active in the field of media art. Currently the most evolved ones are Bratislava, Prague, and Brno. Under each city there are listed the current and past initiatives, festivals, events, conferences, symposiums, ateliers or academic programmes, media, and individuals. Going deeper reveals descriptions of what each is, when it started or took place and where. Then there is a summary of organisers, programmes, and links to articles and homepage. Everything is interlinked and users can edit each node easily.
