Managed by Andrej Hlinka Culture House Ltd on behalf of the municipal government, Ružomberok Culture and Information Centre is engaged in organising cultural and social events, running the regional media (television and newspapers) and managing the Information Centre.

The Information Centre provides information about the town of Ružomberok and Liptov region namely about accommodation and catering services, cultural and sporting events, natural attractions and cultural sites, tourist and cycling routes and bus and train links. In addition, it sells souvenirs, hiking and cycling maps and travel guides, town and its surroundings maps, postcards, admission tickets to cultural and sporting events in Slovakia and abroad and mountain insurance. It promotes the cultural and sporting activities in the town and the surroundings and updates information on the Ružomberok official website. It creates a database of accommodation and catering facilities and a database of companies operating in the city and its surroundings.

This organisation is a member of the Association of Information Centres of Slovakia (AICES), Liptovský Mikuláš.
